Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every quotation, order and installation carried out by Haddad Hamid ("we", "us") for a customer ("you") in the State of Kuwait. Last updated October 2026.

1. Quotations

Quotations are based on the measurements taken during the site visit and on the materials, dimensions and finishes agreed with you in writing. A quotation is valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise. If site conditions turn out to differ materially from what was measured — for example the actual span, ground condition or access — we will tell you before starting and agree any change with you first.

2. Orders and deposits

Fabrication begins once you approve the drawing and the agreed advance payment has been received. Because every item is made to your measurements, an order cannot be cancelled once material has been cut.

3. Permits and approvals

Obtaining any permit or approval required by Kuwait Municipality (بلدية الكويت), your building owner, or your compound or co-operative management is the customer's responsibility. We build to the dimensions shown on your approved licence and can supply the drawings you need for the application.

4. Delivery and installation

Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, site access, power or water not being available, other trades working on site, or circumstances outside our control. You are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the work area on the agreed day.

5. Payment

The balance is payable on completion of installation. Prices are in Kuwaiti Dinar and, unless stated otherwise in the quotation, include material, fabrication, delivery and installation.

6. Warranty

We warrant our workmanship — welding, fixings and structural assembly — against defects for the period stated in your quotation. Manufacturer warranties on panels, sheets, fabrics, motors and hardware are passed to you as supplied by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover normal wear, fabric fading, accidental or impact damage, modifications carried out by others, or damage caused by storms or misuse.

7. Maintenance in Kuwait's climate

Kuwait's heat, dust and — near the coast — salt air affect all outdoor metalwork. Rinsing painted and galvanised surfaces with clean water periodically, and reporting any chipped coating early, will significantly extend the life of your installation.

8. Photographs of completed work

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio and social media. Tell us at any time if you would prefer your project not to be used and we will not publish it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.
